Iceland by bus – East Circle Passport

Verð frá: 45.900 ISK per person.

This passport covers the most stunning and beautiful sites along the south coast, east coast and the north. The crown jewel of your trip will be going over the Kjölur (F35) highland route, only accessible during summer time.

We can truly say that when traveling with the East Circle Passport the scenery is breathtaking, either from the comfort of our bus or by using one of many hiking trails or rest stops along the way. Iceland is yours to discover!

With this passport you enjoy all the regular freedom and flexibility with buses passing your destination every day. We recommend you take care of accommodations beforehand and make a decision regarding, roughly, how many days you want to spend enjoying the circle.

The East Circle Passport is valid from June 28th to August 31st for one circle traveling in one direction.

Please note that last day of operations for different routes is not the same. The opening of the highland roads depends mostly on the amount of snow covering and can be very wet after the spring. They are not opened to traffic until Road Control clears them as safe.

Highlights:

  • This passport will take you across the Kjölur inland route that goes right across the central highlands of Iceland. The vast remoteness and rugged terrain are the home to some of the most beautiful and awesome destinations in Iceland.
  • Kerlingarfjöll one of the most remote parts of Iceland, with epic landscape. It is one of our most popular stops along the F35 route. Between rivers you can find a geothermal area with hot springs and very good hiking trails.
  • This passport covers part of the Golden Circle. There you will see Gullfoss “Golden Falls” Iceland’s most famous visited waterfall and the Geysir hot spring area where Strokkur hot spring erupts every 5-8 minutes.
  • Other highlights are: The town of Akureyri, Goðafoss waterfall, lake Mývatn and surroundings, Dettifoss waterfall the most powerful waterfall in Europe, town of Höfn, Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, Skaftafell national park, the village of Vík, Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls.
