The Siglufjörður campsite grounds are located in the center of town, close to the main square and the harbor. All services, recreation areas and museums are within walking distance. For those who seek a little more privacy and quietness, we offer another site outside of town. The town center is only 10 minutes’ walk if you choose to go by foot. The area is known for its festivals, such as the Blues Festival in Olafsfjordur town and the Folk Music Festival in Siglufjörður town. Siglufjörður also hosts a festival in early August celebrating the time when the town would have been filled with workers during the peak of the “Herring adventure”.
