The Kópasker campsite is located at the entrance to the village. The service house has two sinks, a shower and a toilet and is easy to spot from the road, as well as being sheltered from all directions except the south. The campsite also has a coal barbeque, electricity and a clothes line to dry clothes. There are also picnic tables in the area. The village of Kópasker is is home to a health care center, pharmacy, bank, store, wine store and car repair shop. You will also find a museum on the outskirts of the village. Visitors can also enjoy a 9-hole golf course, a playground and much more. Many nice walking paths are situated nearby and are indicated on the campsite map. When the weather is good you might even see seals resting on the shore and the bird life is also great
in the vicinity of the village.
